As always, Grant and Elliott met our human at the door, and she just had to tell them about the Yorkie in the dress. Then the three of them wondered why anyone would want to do that to a dog, even a dog who's a lot smaller than a cat. After all, animals have fur for a reason, and it can't serve its purpose if it's covered up with pink organza ruffles.
I don't know about dogs, but cats' fur keeps us warm in the winter and, believe it or not, cool in the summer. And it blends in with underbrush in the woods and provides camouflage when we need to hide from something, like a teeny tiny dog in a pink dress. Silly dog. I just dare someone to try to put a dress on me!
Here are some pictures of Grant and Elliott outside on their patio. Grant's eating his favorite plant.
