Tabletop Treats
Our human couldn't find Hagrid anywhere today. Usually, he sits right in the middle of the living room waiting for the treat party to begin. But he wasn't there, and he wasn't in the kitchen. Where'd he go? Then our human spotted him stretched out on the dining room table with one big paw resting on the bags of treats. So our human sat at the table, which is covered with a white cloth embroidered with delicate pink flowers, and doled out treats, one at a time, to her huge Norwegian Forest Cat friend. Hmmm... I wonder if his human lets him eat on the dining room table.

Party Time
I just found out that our human and Hagrid had a treat party every single day last week! No fair. We don't have treat parties here.
Hagrid is a big, beautiful black and white Norwegian Forest Cat. He's very gentle and smart and sensitive. He speaks to our human with his eyes. He's one of those cats who gets health food (ugh. We do, too), but he's allowed to have as many junky treats as he wants when his human is out of town.
So this is how the treat parties work. Hagrid and our human sit nose to nose on the floor in his living room, and she gives him one treat at a time. When she thinks he's had enough (he's never had enough, but what does she know), she starts tossing treats, one at a time, across the room so he can chase them. He loves that! When he finally gets tired of it, she scatters a few more treats around the room so he'll have something to do after she leaves, kisses him on the head and heads for the door. When she looks back at him on her way out, he's always hunting for the treats that were supposed to keep him busy for hours.
Here's a picture of him studying the floor looking for... you guessed it...a treat. Our human is not a good photographer!
