Dexter Needs A Home, Please Help

We're desperately trying to find a home for a diabetic cat. His family is going to have him PTS if he's not out of the house in a week. What a thought...

We've posted him twice on the Feline Diabetes Message Board and on Craig's List. No one wants poor Dexter. It must be awful to be unwanted and facing a death sentence just because you're sick.

Dexter's seven years old and loves other cats, dogs and (human) kids. He loves adult humans, too. The humans he lives with say they love him as much as he loves them, but they can't afford insulin for him and they can't live with a cat who feels so horrible he doesn't always use his litter box. I suspect the real problem here is the litter box issues. Heartless... oh, never mind.
