We have some new cats in the group home -- a female tabby named Trixie and a guy named Twinkie. Twinkie? Hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Twinkie Toes... Oh, Twinkie Toes...
Oh, I'm sorry. I'm being mean. And poor Twinkie and Trixie have enough problems. When our friend Kathy got home from dinner the other night, she found Twinkie and Trixie outside her door in cat carriers. Lucky they got dumped at Kathy's house. Someone else would have just hauled them off to the shelter.
If for some reason you can't keep your cats, don't just drop them off uninvited at the nearest cat lover's house, vet's office, barn or feral cat colony feeding station. Most vets take abandoned cats to the shelter. And barn cats or ferals would probably run your cats off because they don't like sharing their territory with newcomers. I certainly don't! Our human asked me to post this link on rehoming cats.
Oh, and Twinkie's Thomas now. I like that... Trixie and Thomas. They'll be adopted together, of course. If you'd like to meet them, just let us know.
