Christmas Eve With Tommy

This is our first Christmas Eve without Tommy, and our human is so sad. To make her feel better, I thought I'd republish her post about their Christmas Eve tradition... just Tommy and our human walking together late at night.

This what our human wrote a couple of years ago.

"I love to walk with my cats. But on Christmas Eve, Tommy and I walk alone, just the two of us. It's our holiday tradition.


"Tonight, after everyone else is inside, Tommy and I will walk behind the building next to ours and look at all the Christmas lights on the houses across the woods from us. Maybe we’ll sit together on the top of the hill and watch the lights twinkling through the trees. I’ll feel very connected to my beautiful white and orange friend and at peace with the world. Then, he'll go on his way to do the things outside cats do at night. And I'll come in and think about what a gift he is to me and how lucky I am to know him and all the other cats in my life.

"My cats and I wish you and your animal companions a joyous holiday season and a very happy new year."
