Better Tommy Than Me

Our Human had lunch at a lake today. Lucky person... She said I could come with her, but I'd have to wear a harness and leash. I wouldn't like that at all. Tommy went someplace with her in a harness and leash once, and he said it was fun. But he's a lot bigger and more adventurous than I am.

Tommy is her "search and rescue" cat, and he went with her to find a missing pet sitting cat. The cat lived outdoors. But he was always around at dinnertime, and when he didn't show up, Our Human was very worried about him. She came home for Tommy, who just happened to be here, and got him all suited up in his traveling gear. Then they went off to the missing cat's yard to try to track him down. Tommy found him, but he was under a huge sticker bush, and Our Human couldn't reach him. At least she knew he was okay though, and Tommy was her hero. He got an extra can of food that night. But then, he always gets extra cans of food.
