Honey and Winston are very cooperative and stay under the bed as long as I'm on the cat tree. But that Katie keeps sneaking out and trying to take a nap on the bed instead of under it. She acts like she owns the place. What nerve! She asked if we could be friends and go hunting together. I don't think so! I want my old friends, Casper and Jasmine. I'm in no mood for someone new in my life just yet.
Tonight our human answered a question on Just Answer from a couple who's splitting up, and they want to split up the cats, too. They have two 10-year-old sisters who have never been separated. I don't know why people would think it's okay to do that just because they each want a cat. Don't the cats' feelings matter? Don't they realize that we form strong bonds with our friends and family members and grieve for them when they're gone? Our human found this article for you on our relationships with other cats.
On Just Answer, she suggested that the cats should stay together and one of the humans could adopt a new cat from a shelter. I was so proud of her! She'll probably get negative feedback because that wasn't what the people wanted to hear. But at least she tried to help the cats.
I have to get back to the cat tree now, but first I thought I'd post these pictures of Honey and Katie when they were in that shelter. The picture of Winston was taken here. He's on my cat tree!! If you want the cats, they're all yours!
