A New Friend For Me, Part 3

That cat I rescued is coming inside to eat now. We had to move him indoors because Big Yeller, who's supposed to eat on Mel's patio, was helping himself to our cat's food when it was under the bush. I guess he likes Fancy Feast better than Special Kitty. Personally, I wouldn't touch either, but there's no accounting for taste.

We gave our cat a temporary name. It's Hikitty because we couldn't think of anything else. And when our human sees him she always says "Hi Kitty" and sounds like she's really happy he came by.

So now he comes inside around 9 and takes a nap on one of our chairs. He usually sleeps until it's time to eat, and after he's eaten he goes back outside. I like him so much. I wish he'd spend the night inside with us. I'm getting tired of staying outside to keep him company until all hours of the night. This is especially tiresome when it's raining and we have to sit under a big bush to stay dry.
