Creatures of Habit

Maybe you've noticed that cats are creatures of habit. And we never forget our daily routines with our pet sitters. So the routine at Dakota's and Rhianon's house is: sit on the floor and say hi to the cats, prepare the food, give Dakota his medicine, serve the food, scoop the boxes, give the cats catnip... Oops! No catnip! Dakota's waiting in his usual spot on the rug by the kitchen table. Rhianon is in her catnip corner near the fireplace. They were still there, waiting, when our human left.

That was yesterday. Today, we sent some of our catnip with our human, and life was back to normal for Dakota and Rhianon. After they ate, he went to his spot on the rug, and she went to her corner near the fireplace. Our human wasn't far behind with 'nip for both. Phew... glad they were happy.

Here's Dakota's picture. Rhianon's didn't turn out (so what else is new). But we're going to see them again in a couple of weeks, and our "photographer" will try again. Good thing she doesn't care for cats the way she takes pictures.
