Apologies To Piper, Again

I'm so embarrassed! I had to apologize to Piper again for our human's totally irrational behavior. Really... all Piper did was get up on the fence between her yard and her neighbor's. I can't think of even one good reason why our human would put her arm behind Piper and gently sweep her off the fence and then take her inside and lock the door. So what if the neighbor's yard also has a high fence and a locked gate and there's a very busy street just a few yards away. It's not like Piper actually went in the yard or the street, thank goodness.

Anyway, that was yesterday. Today, Piper got to go out but on a harness and leash!

I would not go out on a harness and leash, and I don't know why Piper would put up with such treatment from her cat sitter. She was really nice about it, too. She was very patient while our human put the harness on her, and then she walked right out the door and started crunching around in the leaves and hunting for tiny animals in her yard. She had fun pouncing on the leash, too. It was like a long string (15 feet) to chase. Meanwhile, Bryan Wilson, who was not on a leash, found a few green leaves to nibble.

Our human was very pleased with her pet sitting day when she got home. And it sounds like Piper's not mad at her, although I can't imagine why she's not.

Here's Piper in her harness and leash.
